Buyers Agreement

We have a few requirements we would like to make prospective buyers aware of up front as to avoid any confusions or problems that could possibly arise although unlikely.

Kids are required to be picked up or shipped out no later than 2 months of age. (If for some reason due to weather/shipping difficulties because of extreme heat or cold that is not in your control and you will not be responsible for boarding fees that would incur during the time we wait till we are allowed to ship.) If someone doesn't pick up or have their kid shipped by 2 months of age then there will be a $2.50 daily fee for board. We realize that emergency or unforeseen circumstances will arise from time to time and we will work with you regarding reasonable arrangements should that occur.

We and our vet would greatly appreciate 48-72 hours notice when a health certificate needs to be done.

Once you have received and signed for your goat, we relinquish our responsibility as the goat is legally yours.

A 50% down payment is required and must be received within 5 days to reserve a goat . **IMPORTANT** This 50% down payment is non-refundable.

The balance due, which (if air shipping may include cost of crate and health certificate) must be received in full 2 days prior to shipping. If you are picking up your goat you are responsible to pay the remaining balance at the time of pickup.

If you are not a local buyer and are mailing your payments, they must be mailed by either priority mail or express overnight mail with either insurance or delivery confirmation. This is to protect ourselves and the buyer. This guarantees that that payment will arrive in time for shipping. When air-shipping, the health certificate is only valid for 10 days after the vet signs it, if payment is not received prior to shipment we have to postpone shipment and another health certificate fee would incur. With todays mail system regular delivery is sometimes much slower than what we expect and if payment does get lost in the mail system with no delivery confirmation or insurance there is nothing that can be done. Priority mail only costs $3.85.
