Live Simply,Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly. Be kinder than necessary for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Welcome to Genesis Acres Fainting goat farm. A special thank-you to all the wonderful people we have met thru the years and have given our Fainting goat kids great loving homes. Our family is blessed with having enjoyed raising and selling ourTennessee Fainting goats ( actually correctly referred to as "myotonic" goats) for 12 years. Our Fainting herd started with about 6 kids, 2 bucklings and 4 doelings. We fell head over heels in love with this gentle, easy kidding, affectionate breed of goat. The Fainiting kids definitely grab your heart strings and their cute little antics with their hops and side kicks, and first time "fainting" episodes are still an enjoyment even after all these years. It just never gets old. Each kidding season presents new and unusual coloring of kids out of various does bred to different herdsires. We sell alot of our kids out of state as well. Our herd consists of over 30 myotonic breeding does and a variety of bucks from various bloodlines including our own. Some are proven herdsires and some new ones that we have exposed to certain does and are really excited to see what they produce for us. We have used a PEACOCK pattern and a BLUE male both Fainting bucklings and they should hopefully throw some nice surprises in conformation and coloring, also breeding a very Mini Silky Buck named "Hutch" who is 20 inches tall and has the most beautiful silky coat coming in, and polled (naturally hornless) as well. KIDDING WILL BEGIN ANYTIME NOW.Many kids will be born in December 2009, January, & February, and continuing on thru April 2010. We sell Fainting kids on a first come basis. We have extensive air-shipping experience during the 8 plus years that we have been raising and selling these adorable animals. We use Northwest airlines and are able to ship 2 kids in a crate anywhere in the U.S. It is the same price for 2 as one.We have already shipped as far as Hawaii, with international requests for kids as well. We raise a smaller size Fainter We also raise "Mini Silky Fainting goat kids." Our Mini Silky Fainting goats are Fainters with long Silky coats, unlike the short haired Fainters and are registered with MSFGA in addition we register all our Fainters with MGR and some are IFGA Registered. Some goats are double registered with one herdsire being triple registered. We raise some BLUE eyed, polled (naturally hornless) as well as bucklings that will get huge racks of beautiful horns. They are not aggressive and we have never had a problem with horns being an issue for us. We do not disbud for personal beliefs, but understand those who chose to do so. Each kidding season we have an extensive variety of coloring of kids that are available for pets, adding to existing herds for new bloodlines, or starting your own small herd. Each Fainting kid goat is evaluated for conformation, and all the other aspects that one looks for in a quality Fainter. We hope you will enjoy pictures of our past kids sold (Located on SALES page scrolling down to links.) Our other LINK pages explain in detail how we ship and also how we care for our herd. In addition to our Fainters we also sell peacocks and when puppies are available have 2 female LGD purebred Pyrenees "Faith" and "Spirit" full sisters that we personally use to quard our kids from predators. Thank-you for your interest in Genesis Acres Exotic and we welcome any and all questions.(Breeding stock will be up for sale in the near future as well as we are looking to retire from farming mostly due to ongoing health issues in the family.)
